Other Mothers: Erin Robertson, Marketing and Sales Consultant and Co-Owner of Dogwood and Thistle Winery.
Stepping back from career (and work as identity), being a present parent, having it all (just not at the same time), choosing how to live your life, and outsourcing and letting go with intention.
Erin Robertson is the co-founder of Virginia-based winery Dogwood and Thistle, and also a wine industry marketing and sales consultant. She’s also the mother of an eight year old daughter and author behind The Swirl, a Substack newsletter for small wineries. In addition, Erin is a long-time personal friend— we met nearly 20 years ago, when both of us were young and single and living in SF. I always love getting the chance to chat with Erin, especially after she and her family moved cross-country during the pandemic— and I loved chatting with her about how she resources herself in motherhood, how she uses her calendar as to-do list AND values check, and so, so much more.
